That is a great NSV! I think my fave because I have a 2 story house with a finished basement- is running up and down the stairs when I need something...not having to think or worry about it.

I used to have problems with going up and down the stairs. Now I run up and down with no problem. It is so invigorating.

Great NSVs.

What fun, 3B and good for you!! I too had an NSV last night. I have had severe obstructive sleep apnea for over 20 years. As I've lost weight, the pressure has had to be reduced multiple times until it was at its lowest setting. The pulmonologist has me scheduled for a sleep study in one month but advised me to see how I do without it because the pressure was blowing my mouth open. After this long, it's like a pacifier for me and I couldn't do it!

so, last night I had to leave for a business trip all week and went cold turkey...i left the cpap at home and did great!! It was so freeing not to carry it on the plane and be NORMAL!! I'm still waiting for the sleep study to give me final confirmation but this will be the last of my comorbidities conquered. Here's to healthier, happier us!!

That must have been awesome. I can't imagine having to carry something like that with me. What a freedom you have now.

Dumb question - what does NSV stand for?

That's so great 3B!!  Let's see, I went to a amusemen****er park with my husband and son this past weekend and I rode all the rides I wanted to without any fear or trepidation or anything!  That was a pretty awesome feeling; usually I'm the Sherpa holding everyone's stuff while they get to enjoy themselves.  I did see a few times, though, when a larger person was asked to leave a ride because the attendant wasn't able to secure them.  That made me pretty sad.

That is a great feeling being able to go on rides and not be the one who is watching. Congratulations.

Huge NSV right there and one I can't wait for - congrats!

And I was that person 7 years ago when I was dating my now husband and I so never want to be there again, it was so humiliating :(

For two weeks I have been sitting outside in the grass on my lunch break reading. My back doesn't hurt AND I don't look like a baby elephant trying to get up! Its my new favorite break activity.
